That was it. I attended a youth camp last april 13 - april 15, 2007 with ate Neriza and ate Jenna and other new aquaintances held at Bluroze Farm & Resort. Such event was called BCBP (Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen & Professionals) Pals (Pro-active Loving Service) Youth Camp Exodus.. just so you would know. :) At first i thought it would be boring,, because it was supposed to start at 6 in the evening.. (dali dali pa nga kami! galing lang ako sa review class ko nun which ended @ 5:30.. whew! imagine that..) then it started about 8:00 or so.. pero nakuu, an saya pala!! hehehe.. the first thing we did is the get to know each other game. there are two lines, facing each other.. then you would introduce yourself. then you would move to the right to know the next one! un.. tapos nun naggroupings na kami wid names of some superheroes! samin nga eh Super Inggo.. hehe! other names were, Darna, Super Twins, Krystala and Pedro(w) Penduko! hehe.. Then that is the end of the night for the campers.. but for us three (ate Neriza & Jenna) and with Kuya Donn & others.. its bonding time to get to know each other.. hehehe!! We slept at 1:00, imagine that!! hehehe...
2nd day was a fun filled activity! there are a lot of gameS! woohoo.. our morning started with the whistle of our camp master (kuya R.A.). We did the "Taitchi" (dunno if the spelling is right.) which turns out to be the famous nursery song, "I have two hands!!" heheheh.. grewl. :P Then after that we ate, rest for a while.. not knowing that our time is limited!! It's said that we only have 5 minutes left to clean up .. eh we're just resting there @ the tent! hahaha.. dali dali na kami!! By the way we went up the tower! ang taas.. kakalula! :) After that we had the most awaiting part... the games! I dunno what was the first game.. but these are:
(i'm the one who gave it a title. hehehehe.) [1] the calamansi relay with the flour scoop.. you have to fill the gatorade bottle at the turning point. we wOn!! [2] the sack race with the mummy where after the sack race, a mummy has to race to the end. we wOn again!!! [3] the petroleum jelly.. where you have to put a lot of pertoleum on your nose so cottonballs would stick to it then you will put it to the other basin by shaking your head! on the first round there is a tie between super inggo and krystala, on the second and third (where there would be only 1 participant..) round, there are ties again between the two teams.!! oh,, what a coaccident! hehehe.. "anu ba yan, nagpapatalo na nga kami panalo pa rin! hahaha. :P" said our leader, Kuya DJ.. he was a funny yet responsible leader, though its not obvious. hahah! [4] the bunot game where you had to step your bare foot on the bunot and race! hahaha. [5] the valentines day.. [6] the hunt-flags-for-food at the confusing maze or labyrinth! ah! ah.. pano ba naman ours is the green flag! tsk tsk & it camauflauged with the leaves! too bad for us., late na kami nakakain. [7] the quote inside balloon wherein you have to pop the balloon and complete the quote given! pano ba naman un.. di namin nakita kung san pumunta un last quote but were suppose to be the first!!! argh. but the lesson is.. its like out parents.. they're always there though we cannot see. :) [8] how can i forget the make up game using only a lipstick! hahah. a girl member is blind folded and then she had to make up a guy member! hahahah. [9] the sports game where you have to say your group (ours was football kick!) three times then the name of the others... haha! we won on the first game! tie again with Krystala! [10] the balloon relay where you have to put the balloon between your legs! haha! hinuli ako pero still we didn't win. we came close to the first. konti na lang eh. pero my groupmates said it's okay.. kinabahan lang daw ako. :)
Night came then when we are asked to make a cheer.. we made a cheer that would really tease the other groups! haha! It's like, we're imitating Super Twins famous line then we'll just change Twins to Inggo, uhm.. say "Ding, ang Krystal!" then yell "Super Inggo!!!!" after.., and for teasing Pedro Penduko we'll say "Kaming MAS bahala sa inyo!!" heheheh... we also presented our simple yet funny role play about Procapio - Proky!. haha! basta.. others even made a presentation about all that happen during the camp using the bible story! hehe.. infront of the bonfire & infront of our parentss. :) after that its time for us to sleep but we decided to stay @ the open tent where we played truth or dare. I picked dare so I was asked to sing & dance.. Its was corny coz i sang Twinkle Twinkle while twinkling my hands! hehehe.. funny. :P After that Jed the servant (oh, were participants) joined in for added fun! hehe.. Then ghost story telling na about La Salle Lipa & Taft tska UST!! naku.. tsk.tsk.tsk.. kami naman mga Canossians kinig kinig lang.. hehehe. :) then Jed.. mejo feeling scary na, nanginginig pa daw so Kuya Donn & Erwin crack some jokes. heehe. lakas ang banat!!!! :) Di ko talaga malilimutan ung gabing un! tapos nun.. natulog na sina Kuya Erwin @ Jed. di na kinaya eh.. but we (ate julie ann, ate jenna, ate neriz @ kuya donn, oo ako pinakabata! hehehe) still stayed until dawn! hehehe., now with kuya R.A. & kuya Fonzy (thanks for the pillow & twin popsies! hehehe.) Kumain pa kami ng snaks bago kami tuluyang matulog! hahaha. They say tumakas kami para makatulog.. pero hindi ah! parang lang...hehehe! Then that ends our last night @ Bluroze wit them. :(
This is the last day!!! For our exercise.. we jog around the trees! hehehe.. After that we explained our camp names. Mine was Yuna (FF X-2).. then followed by two more games. [11] the sponge game where you have to use the sponge to fill the bottle at the opposite side... todo basaan un! pero di pa tapos ang basaan! yech.:P [12] the water balloon game na ganun din ang way ng paglalaro! we didnt win in any of the games, bad for us. hehe! pero where still happy!! after that basaan na!! ah! ah! the leaders keep on playing around.. hehe! sabi pa nga nung isa.. "babasbasan na kayo ni father.. heheh!" Super saya talga.:) We had the mass, kahit na nakakaantok ok lang kasi funny naman si Father! He even showed his Crocs bought @ S'pore. I was regretting then kasi he is suppossed to be our priest for our Recollection. :( For lunch.. we had this boodlefight?! yeah. We eat on the banana leaves using barehands. Hehehe! After that.. its time for us to go.. wAah!
This BCBP Pals Youth Camp Exodus gave me a new learning experience. I learned that parents are always there for us, that cooperation is the most important in a group (super inggo!! ill miss ya!), that we must always be strong enough to face the challenges and to accept the lost in a game because all of this have a purpose. :) I will never forget all the people I have been with during this youth camp because they made me at least a better person. Their cracked jokes made me laugh!! hehehe. And this will always be our motto.. PARTICIPANTS FOREVER! [camper yuna. :)]
